We were joined on the Popternative show by Flora Li Thiemann (The Gryphon, The Aftermath) who can be seen playing Livia Cardew in the Hunger Games prequel film, The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, coming to theaters November 17th. It stars Tom Blyth (Billy the Kid), Rachel Zegler (West Side Story), Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), Hunter Schafer (Euphoria), Josh Andrés Rivera (West Side Story), Jason Schwartzman (Asteroid City), and Viola Davis (The Woman King).

The film is set 64 years before Katniss Everdeen volunteered as tribute, and decades before Coriolanus Snow became the tyrannical President of Panem.

In our interview, Flora tells us about how she landed the role of Livia, being part of the Hunger Games universe and much more. She also discusses what it was like being on set for such a massive project and taking it all in.

Watch the full conversation with Flora below.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes will premiere in theaters on Friday, November 17th.
