We were joined on the Popternative show by Eva Carlton who can be seen in the brand-new Nickelodeon/Paramount+ live action series The Really Loud House which recently premiered on November 3rd. This live action series is an adaptation of the fan-favorite animated series The Loud House. Eva plays upbeat fashionista ‘Leni Loud’ who can always be relied on for her bright and sunny outlook on life.
In our interview, Eva tells us about preparing for her role and the audition process: “When I was auditioning […] I kind of made a point to not watch it [the animated version]. I stopped watching Nickeldeon by the time The Loud House was on. But I made sure not to go too deep into it […] I didn’t want to I guess subconsciously mimic what the other actors did, and I wanted to be able to put my own spin on it.” She also discusses what it’s like being part of the Nickelodeon world and what it’s like filming the series.
