We were joined on the Popternative show by Chase W. Dillon who stars in the classic ride inspired Disney film, Haunted Mansion, which premiered on July 28th in theaters. Directed by Justin Simien (Dear White People), the film features an all-star cast ensemble cast including LaKeith Stanfield (Atlanta), Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip), Owen Wilson (Wedding Crashers), Danny DeVito (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Rosario Dawson (Rent), Chase W. Dillon (The Harder They Fall), and Dan Levy (Schitt’s Creek), with Jamie Lee Curtis (Everything Everywhere All at Once) and Jared Leto (Suicide Squad) as The Hatbox Ghost.
Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, the film follows a woman and her son who turn to spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters. The film’s producers are Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, with Nick Reynolds and Tom Peitzman serving as executive producers.
