We chatted with Chance Dollard who has done some extra and background work on Netflix’s Cobra Kai. Check out our conversation below.
When did you decide that storytelling was something you wanted to do?
Chance Dollard (CD): Storytelling was something that I got into after college when I realized I wanted to be an actor.
How did you get involved with Cobra Kai?
CD: I got involved with Cobra Kai through doing background work until I landed on the show and they asked me to come back!
What was one of the best things about working on Cobra Kai?
CD: The best thing for me was the people I met! I haven’t had a better experience on any other set to this day. And I don’t think I ever will!
In your opinion, what is the main reason why Cobra Kai is so popular?
CD: In my opinion, I think it’s popular because of the nostalgia and the fact that it had an untapped fan base for a little while.
What is the ideal project you want to work on in the future?
CD: My ideal project that I would want to work on would have to be an A24 film. I truly love horror movies and the genre! But I also just love A24 productions. Or a Quinton Tarantino film.
