We were joined on the Popternative show by Braeden De La Garza to discuss season 2 of Freeform’s anthology teen drama series, Cruel Summer which premiered June 5 and introduced us to new stories, characters, and timelines. Season 2 follows the rise and fall of an intense teenage friendship and love triangle told through three different timelines surrounding Y2K (summer 1999, winter 1999, and summer 2000) and the mystery that would impact all of their lives.
Season 2’s cast also includes Sadie Stanley, Lexi Underwood, Griffin Gluck, Lisa Yamada, KaDee Strickland, Sean Blakemore, Nile Bullock, and Paul Adelstein.
