In our interview, Ava and Jensen discuss what viewers can expect from this new series, being in a series where music is the focal point, and their audition process. They also describe their characters:

“I feel like I’m pretty similar to my character, he plays music, he wants to make it big, he has his idols, and my character is really organized as well,” Jensen says of Aaron.

“She’s definitely a rocker, she’s super cool, super confident, doesn’t care what people think of her, she also loves to write her own music, loves to play her guitar, and sometimes comes off as edgy and kind of rebellious but once you really get to know her she’s got a kind heart,” Ava describes Erin.

Erin & Aaron airs Thursdays at 7:30 PM PT/ET on Nickelodeon.
