We were joined on the Popternative show by singer-songwriter and media personality Loren Gray who plays Katrina in the new Netflix teen comedy film, Incoming, which is now streaming on the platform. Written and directed by Dave Chernin and John Chernin (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Incoming follows four freshmen who are face the challenge of attending their very first high school party.
The film also stars Mason Thames (The Black Phone), Ramon Reed (13: The Musical), Raphael Alejandro (Bunk’d), Isabella Ferreira (Crush), Bardia Seiri (Grey’s Anatomy), Ali Gallo (Unhuman), Scott MacArthur (Killing It), Thomas Barbusca (Luckiest Girl Alive), Kim Hawthorne (Greenleaf), Victoria Moroles (Teen Wolf), Kayvan Shai (FBI), with Kaitlin Olson (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), and Bobby Cannavale (The Watcher).

In the film, Loren’s character gets a bit too drunk at the party and stumbles into a car occupied by Eddie (Ramon Reed) and Connor (Raphael Alejandro), mistaking them for her Uber ride. They decide to help her out and give her a safe ride home, but on the way, they stop by Taco Bell. This soon leads to an……unfortunate incident which is both gross and hilarious (if you know, you know!).
In our interview, Loren goes into detail about filming THAT scene, working with the Incoming cast, getting into acting, and more. Watch the full conversation below.
Incoming is streaming on Netflix.
