We were joined on the Popternative show by Bardia Seiri who can be seen in the new Netflix teen comedy film, Incoming, which is now streaming on the platform. Written and directed by Dave Chernin and John Chernin (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Incoming follows four freshmen who are face the challenge of attending their very first high school party. Bardia plays one of these freshmen, Koosh, whose home is the scene of the party as his older brother is the host.

The film also stars Mason Thames (The Black Phone), Ramon Reed (13: The Musical), Raphael Alejandro (Bunk’d), Isabella Ferreira (Crush), Loren Gray (Glow Up with Loren Gray), Ali Gallo (Unhuman), Scott MacArthur (Killing It), Thomas Barbusca (Luckiest Girl Alive), Kim Hawthorne (Greenleaf), Victoria Moroles (Teen Wolf), Kayvan Shai (FBI), with Kaitlin Olson (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), and Bobby Cannavale (The Watcher).

When discussing the different kinds of scenarios in the film his character gets involved in, Bardia says, “I could really branch out. [The] scenes were so different and so unique and I could just be the same character but in a different way. All of [the scenes] are completely different.”

“[The school scene was] our first scene together, so I was kind of happy that we did that first because it was the first day of school. Everyone was nervous and this was our first time actually [acting] with each other and it was at a real school, so I got into the feeling and atmosphere, and it really helped.” Bardia also talks about his audition process, working with the cast, and how the crew created Koosh’s style, including his hair.
