Tell Me Lies Season 3 Gets Greenlight From Hulu
Hulu today officially renewed the drama series Tell Me Lies for a third season in an Instagram post with the caption: “couldn’t keep you waiting any longer. #tellmelies is returning for season 3 on @hulu.”
Fans can breathe a sigh of relief as season 2 ended with quite the cliffhanger and storyline twists, just as it did at the end of season 1.
The 8-episode second season premiered on September 4, 2024 and picked up as Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White) return to college, not speaking after their dramatic breakup at the start of the summer. Yet while very much at odds, they find themselves in a new version of their addictive dynamic – which is as infuriating as it is inescapable. Meanwhile, the story expands deeper into the lives of Lucy and Stephen’s friend group, as the fallout from season one impacts all of their lives in unexpected ways.
The season 2 cast included Grace Van Patten (Nine Perfect Strangers), Jackson White (Pet Sematary: Bloodlines), Cat Missal (Vacation), Spencer House (The Society), Sonia Mena (The Deuce), Branden Cook (Masters of the Air), Alicia Crowder (The Society), and welcomed new cast members Tom Ellis (Lucifer) and Thomas Doherty (Gossip Girl). Meaghan Oppenheimer (We Are Your Friends) serves as executive producer and showrunner.
