Hulu today released a (very) creepy official trailer for their upcoming original horror flick, Mr. Crocket, premiering on the streaming platform on Friday, October 11. Directed by up-and-comer Brandon Espy, from his script written with Carl Reid (Hulu’s The Mill), Mr. Crocket is based on the 2022 short film of the same name, written and directed by Espy for Hulu’s third season of their anthology series, Bite Size Halloween.
Set in 1993, a mysterious children’s show host named Mr. Crocket, starts to magically emerge from television sets to kidnap young children, brutally slaying their parents in the process. After the host snatches her son, one determined mother embarks on a perilous quest to track down the demonic entertainer and rescue her boy.
Mr. Crocket stars Jerrika Hinton (Grey’s Anatomy), Elvis Nolasco (American Crime), Ayden Gavin (Big George Foreman), Kristolyn Lloyd (The Bold and the Beautiful), and Alex Akpobome (Industry).
