House of the Dragon Season 3 Teaser is Here
HBO today dropped the first teaser for House of the Dragon Season 3 set to debut June 21. New episodes will air weekly leading up to the season finale on August 9. A fourth and final season has already been confirmed.
Set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon tells the story of House Targaryen. Season 3 is said to be a much bloodier season as the dance of the dragons intensifies.
The teaser debuts a first look at new cast member James Norton (House of Guinness, Happy Valley) as Ormund Hightower, nephew to Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans) and cousin to Alicent (Olivia Cooke) and Gwayne (Freddie Fox). Ormund will play a key role in the series as he will lead Hightower during the escalating war in support of Aegon II (Tom Glynn-Carney).
Also joining Season 3 are Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy, MobLand) as Ser Roderick Dustin, Dan Fogler (The Rainmaker, Fanboys) as Ser Torrhen Manderly, Joplin Sibtain (Andor, Safe) as Ser Jon Roxton, Barry Sloane (The Bay, Revenge) as Ser Adrian Redfort, Annie Shapero (Saccharine, Red Skies) as “Black Aly” Alysanne Blackwood, and Tom Cullen (The Gold, Downton Abbey) as Ser Luthor Largent.
Emma D’Arcy returns as Rhaenyra Targaryen in addition to Matt Smith as Daemon Targaryen, Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys, Fabien Frankel as Ser Criston Cole, Ewan Mitchell as Aemond Targaryen, Sonoya Mizuno as Mysaria, Harry Collett as Jacaerys “Jace” Velaryon, Bethany Antonia, as Baela Targaryen, Phoebe Campbell as Rhaena Targaryen, Phia Saban as Helaena Targaryen, Jefferson Hall as Ser Tyland Lannister, Matthew Needham as Lord Larys, Tom Bennett as Ulf, Kieran Bew as Hugh, Kurt Egyiawan as Grand Maester Orwyle, Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull, Gayle Rankin as Alys Rivers, Abubakar Salim as Alyn of Hull.
