We were joined on the Popternative show by Amirah J who can be seen playing Ava in the new crime drama series, High Potential alongside Kaitlin Olson (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia). The series premiered on September 17th on ABC, and episodes can also be streamed on Hulu.

Written by Drew Goddard (The Good Place), and based on the popular French series Haut Potentiel Intellectuel, High Potential follows single mom Morgan (Olson) with an brilliant mind and an unconventional knack for solving crimes. This leads to an unusual partnership with a seasoned detective, played by Daniel Sunjata (Rescue Me). The cast also includes Javicia Leslie (God Friended Me), Deniz Akdeniz (The Flight Attendant), Matthew Lamb (Smile), and Judy Reyes (Scrubs).
