The Heated Rivalry Original Series Soundtrack is now available for pre-order on both CD and vinyl. The soundtrack will become available on July 10. The soundtrack includes both Peter Peter‘s original score, as well as a curated selection of fan-favourite needle drops heard in the series by Wolf Parade, Feist, t.A.T.u, Harrison and more. Also included on the physical formats is “One Soul (Cottage Version),” a never-before-released version of the Peter Peter score cue heard in the iconic final episode of the series. Newly announced today and available for preorder exclusively on Sony Music Canada website is an official cassette version, including an icy clear cassette with printed labels and insert featuring series imagery and credits, releasing August 14.
The soundtrack will be available on vinyl in two different variants – the wide Montreal v. Boston Edition and a specialty Icy Inferno Edition, available exclusively on the Sony Music Canada website or the Milan website. The Montreal v. Boston Edition features 2 striking block-coloured discs – Montreal Metros’ Blue/Red and Boston Raiders’ Black/Yellow – while the Icy Inferno Edition features transparent clear discs. Both variants arrive as 2-LP deluxe gatefold sets and include printed sleeves, two trading cards, a fold‑out poster, and liner notes by show creator Jacob Tierney. Meanwhile, the album’s CD format features as a double CD release including imagery from the series, a fold-out poster with credits and liner notes from show creator Jacob Tierney.
