
HBO Max today dropped a teaser trailer for Season 2 of the medical drama, The Pitt, set to debut in January 2026. The Pitt is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Season 2 will focus on a new shift as each episode takes place during a one hour shift of the same day. Season 1 garnered 13 Emmy nominations.
The Season 2 cast includes Noah Wyle as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch, Patrick Ball as Dr. Langdon, Katherine LaNasa as Dana Evans, Supriya Ganesh as Dr. Mohan, Fiona Dourif as Dr. McKay, Taylor Dearden as Dr. King, Isa Briones as Dr. Santos, Gerran Howell as Whitaker, Shabana Azeez as Javadi, and Sepideh Moafi as Dr. Al-Hashimi.
From John Wells Productions (The West Wing, ER) and Warner Bros. Television, The Pitt is created by R. Scott Gemmill (JAG, ER). The end of Season 1 left the fates of Dr. Langdon and Dana up in the air, but the teaser for Season 2 confirms their returns to the hospital.
