Hallmark’s newest film, Haul Out the Halloween, premiered on October 11 and truly celebrates the love for the spooky season. We were joined on the Popternative show by cast members Lacey Chabret (Mean Girls), Wes Brown (True Blood), Melissa Peterman (Happy’s Place), Ellen Travolta (General Hospital), Stephen Tobolowsky (Groundhog Day), Kimberly J. Brown (Halloweentown), and David Kountz (Halloweentown).
The film centers on Evergreen Lane, where the houses are renowned for their spectacular holiday displays, but have long been modest when it comes to Halloween. When new Halloween-obsessed neighbors, Luna (Kimberly Brown) and Marvin (Kountz) move to the block, Emily (Chabert), Jared (Wes Brown) and the rest of the homeowner association agree to get in on the seasonal fun and launch EverSCREAM Lane to fundraise for a local charity.

As the block pulls together to plan creepy contests, spine-chilling décor and a spooktacular carnival, new haunted hijinks ensue with Pamela (Peterson), Ned (Tobolowsky), Mary Louise (Travolta) and the rest of the block. Through the process, Emily rediscovers the joys of the holiday that she and her late grandmother once cherished.
