The highly anticipated Ghostbusters: Afterlife trailer is finally here. The film’s synopsis is described as: When a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.
It will open in theaters in the US and Canada on November 11, 2021, in the UK on November 12, and in Australia on December 2.
The film is directed by Jason Reitman (Up in the Air, Juno), who is the son of Ivan Reitman, the director of the original Ghostbusters (1984) and the 1989 sequel. The film stars an incredible cast, including returning cast members from the original: Carrie Coon (Gone Girl, Avengers: Infinity Wars), Finn Wolfhard (It, Stranger Things), McKenna Grace (Gifted, I, Tonya), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man, Anchorman), Sigourney Weaver (Ghostbusters, Avatar), Bill Murray (Ghostbusters, Lost in Translation), Dan Aykroyd (Ghostbusters, Driving Miss Daisy), Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters, Grace and Frankie), Annie Potts (Ghostbusters, Toy Story 4), and Logan Kim (Home Movie: The Princess Bride).
