Sony Pictures today released a first look image from the upcoming rom-com, Anyone But You, starring Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria, The Voyeurs) and Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick, Hidden Figures). The film will be released in theaters on December 15th, 2023, and is directed by Will Gluck (Easy A, Friends with Benefits) and co-written with Ilana Wolpert (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series).
The cast also includes Alexandra Shipp (X-Men: Apocalypse, Straight Outta Compton), GaTa (Self Reliance, Dave), Hadley Robinson (Appendage, Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty), Michelle Hurd (Star Trek: Picard, The Glades), Dermot Mulroney (Secret Invasion, Scream VI), Darren Barnet (Gran Turismo, Never Have I Ever), and Rachel Griffiths (Total Control, Six Feet Under).
Anyone But You Synopsis
Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell) look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold — until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia. So they do what any two mature adults would do — pretend to be a couple.
