Stephen King’s bestselling 1975 novel Salem’s Lot is being adapted into a film which will premiere this October on Max. The film reunites the producing teams behind the horror franchises The Conjuring universe and the It films. Gary Dauberman (Annabelle, The Nun) writes, directs, and executive produces.
The film stars Lewis Pullman (Lessons in Chemistry, The Starling Girl), Alfre Woodard (Luke Cage, 12 Years a Slave), Makenzie Leigh (Gotham, The Slap), Bill Camp (Presumed Innocent, The Queen’s Gambit), Spencer Treat Clark (Animal Kingdom, Manhun), Pilou Asbæk (I.S.S., Game of Thrones), John Benjamin Hickey (The Good Wife, Jessica Jones), Nicholas Crovetti (Boy Kills World, Big Little Lies), and Jordan Preston Carter (DMZ, The Haves and the Have Nots).

The logline reads, “Author Ben Mears (Lewis Pullman) returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire.”
