
Netflix today released the first teaser for the anime series, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, premiering November 17th. The series reunites the cast from the cult favorite 2010 film, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World including Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers, Satya Bhabha as Matthew Patel, Kieran Culkin as Wallace Wells, Chris Evans as Lucas Lee, Anna Kendrick as Stacey Pilgrim, Brie Larson as Envy Adams, Alison Pill as Kim Pine, Aubrey Plaza as Julie Powers, Brandon Routh as Todd Ingram, Jason Schwartzman as Gideon Graves, Johnny Simmons as Young Neil, Mark Webber as Stephen Stills, Mae Whitman as Roxy Richter, and Ellen Wong as Knives Chau.
Bryan Lee O’Malley, the author and artist of the Scott Pilgrim graphic novel series, and BenDavid Grabinski (Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Happily) serve as executive producers/writers/showrunners. The original film’s director, co-writer and producer Edgar Wright, serves as executive producer.
Synopsis
Scott Pilgrim meets the girl of his dreams, Ramona Flowers, but learns he must defeat her seven evil exes in order to date her. Then things get even more complicated. Based on the graphic novels by Bryan Lee O’Malley.

The series will feature original songs by Anamanaguchi (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game), score by Anamanaguchi (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game), and Joseph Trapanese (Straight Outta Compton).
