Prime Video today launched first look photos from the upcoming romcom, Maintenance Required starring Madelaine Petsch (Riverdale), Katy O’Brian (Love Lies Bleeding), Madison Bailey (Outer Banks), and Jacob Scipio (Bad Boys: Ride or Die). The film will premiere globally on the streaming platform on October 8.
The cast also includes Inanna Sarkis (After franchise), Matteo Lane (Upgraded), and Jim Gaffigan (Chappaquiddick).
The synopsis reads, “Charlie, the fiercely independent owner of an all-female mechanic shop, is forced to reevaluate her future when a flashy corporate competitor moves in across the street. Seeking comfort, she turns to an anonymous online confidant – unaware she’s confiding in Beau, the very rival threatening her business. As sparks fly both online and off, the truth threatens to blow everything apart.”
The film is directed and co-written by Lacey Uhlemeyer (The Dancer). Co-writers also include Roo Berry and Erin Falconer.
