SYFY today released first look photos from The Ark season 2 which will premiere Wednesday, July 17th at 10/9c. The first season of the sci-fi series premiered in March 2023 and reached 6.5 million viewers across all platforms.
The series takes place 100 years in the future when planetary colonization missions have begun as a necessity to help secure the survival of the human race. In season two, after the brave crew of Ark One reaches their destination and finds it uninhabitable, they must survive long enough to locate a new home for themselves and all the ships that follow.
The cast includes Christie Burke (Maid), Richard Fleeshman (The Sandman), Reece Ritchie (The Outpost), Stacey Read, Ryan Adams (Orange Peel), Christina Wolfe (The Weekend Away), Shalini Peiris (The Danny & Mick Show), Pavle Jerinic (Ubice mog oca), Tiana Upcheva (The Outpost), Jelena Moore (Pevacica, Dara iz Jasenovca), Jelena Stupljanin (Nemirni), Miles Barrow (The Peripheral), Paul Leonard Murray (Doctor Ray and the Devils), Lisa Brenner (Cesar Chavez), Jadran Malkovich (Ted Lasso), and Samantha Glassner.
Dean Devlin (Independence Day, Stargate) and Jonathan Glassner (Stargate SG-1) are co-showrunners and executive producers alongside Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson (The Outpost, Almost Paradise) of Electric Entertainment. Jonathan English (Ironclad, The Outpost) of Balkanic Media and Mark Franco (The Librarians, Almost Paradise) of Electric Entertainment serve as producers.
