Hulu today revealed first look photos from Season 2 of Nine Perfect Strangers, premiering on May 21 with the first two episodes, followed by weekly releases on Hulu. In Season 2 of the mystery thriller, Nicole Kidman returns as nine new strangers come together to undergo Masha’s (Kidman) psychedelic therapy at Zauberwald in the breathtaking Austrian Alps.
New cast includes Henry Golding (A Simple Favor, Crazy Rich Asians), Lena Olin (Hunters, Chocolat), Annie Murphy (Kevin Can F**k Himself, Schitt’s Creek), Christine Baranski (The Gilded Age, The Good Fight), Lucas Englander (The Day of the Jackal, Transatlantic), singer-songwriter King Princess, Murray Bartlett (The White Lotus, Welcome to Chippendales), Dolly de Leon (Triangle of Sadness, Ghostlight), Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Wolf Hall, The Kissing Booth 2), Mark Strong (1917, Kingsman: The Secret Service), and Aras Aydin (Cherry Season, Runaway).
The synopsis for Season 2 reads, “Nine new strangers connected in ways they could never imagine are invited by mysterious guru Masha Dmitrichenko (Nicole Kidman) to join a transformational wellness retreat in the Austrian Alps. Over the course of a week, she takes them to the brink. Will they make it? Will she? Masha is willing to try anything in the interest of healing everyone involved, including herself.”
