Netflix today revealed new photos and an official trailer for the upcoming holiday rom-com, Meet Me Next Christmas, starring Christina Milian (Resort to Love, Falling Inn Love) and featuring a cappella band Pentatonix. The film will arrive on the streaming platform November 6. Milian also executive produces the film.
Directed by Rusty Cundieff (A New Diva’s Christmas Carol, Chapelle’s Show), and written by Molly Haldeman and Camilla Rubis (The Neighborhood, The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia), the cast also includes Devale Ellis (A Christmas Fumble, Sistas), Kofi Siriboe (Queen Sugar), Tymika Tafari (Slip), Kalen Allen (With Love), Nikki Duval (Strays), and Wesley French (Cashing In).
The logline reads: “In pursuit of a fairy-tale romance with the man of her dreams, Layla (Milian) must race through New York City to get her hands on the hottest ticket in town: the sold-out Pentatonix Christmas Eve Concert. At the show, she hopes to reconnect with the dashing James (Kofi Siriboe), a love interest so charming, he’s the only present Layla wants under her tree this Christmas.”
