After all the recent exciting announcements of cast members joining the new Dexter spinoff series, Dexter: Resurrection, we finally have some first look photos.
Dexter: Resurrection stars Michael C. Hall in the titular role of Dexter Morgan and production started in January in New York. The series is set to launch in summer of 2025 on Paramount+ with Showtime. Resurrection will take place where things left off in New Blood, which was a very divisive finale for viewers.

“We thought it would be the end, but he’s a remarkably resilient guy, so the possibility was always – at least for me – percolating,” Hall told Vanity Fair.
Resurrection will also star Uma Thurman (Kill Bill) as Charley, David Zayas (Dexter) as Detective Angel Batista, Jack Alcott (Dexter: New Blood) as Dexter’s son Harrison Morgan, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine (The Chi) as Blessing Kamara, Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family) as A.I., Kadia Saraf (Law & Order: SVU) as Detective Claudette Wallace, Dominic Fumusa (Nusre Jackie) as Detective Melvin Oliva, Emilia Suárez (Up Here) as Elsa Rivera, James Remar (Dexter) as Dexter’s father Harry Morgan, Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) as Leon Prater, Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) as Lowell, Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) as Mia, David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil) as Gareth, Marc Menchaca (Ozark) as Red, Reese Antoinette (Bad Monkey) as Joy, Jill Marie Lawrence (Law & Order: SVU) as Constance Kamara, and Sharon Hope (Power) as Prudence.

Uma Thurman will play the series regular role of Charley, the Head of Security for mysterious billionaire Leon Prater, played by Peter Dinklage. A former Special Ops officer, Charley worked various high-level private security jobs before taking on her position as the resourceful and meticulous right-hand woman for Prater.

Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine will play Blessing Kamara, a rideshare driver who radiates unwavering optimism and a man devoted to his family and community. Kadia Saraf will play Detective Claudette Wallace, a razor-sharp investigator known for her methodical precision and unrelenting focus. Dominic Fumusa will play Detective Melvin Oliva, Claudette Wallace’s partner at NYPD who is the only one that understands his quirky partner. Emilia Suárez will play Elsa Rivera, Harrison Morgan’s vibrant and determined friend and co-worker at the Empire Hotel.

The new series is executive produced by Emmy-nominee Clyde Phillips (Dexter, Nurse Jackie), who also returns to serve as showrunner, and produced by SHOWTIME Studios and Counterpart Studios. Michael C. Hall also serves as executive producer along with Scott Reynolds (Dexter, Jessica Jones), Tony Hernandez (Broad City, Emily in Paris) and Lilly Burns (Search Party, Russian Doll), with Marcos Siega (Bad Monkey, Dexter: New Blood) serving as producing director.
