The legend of Camp Crystal Lake is about to begin. Peacock and A24 today debuted first look images and a chilling teaser for Crystal Lake, the upcoming Friday the 13th prequel series set to premiere on October 15.
Led by Linda Cardellini (DTF St. Louis, Dead to Me) as Pamela “Pam” Voorhees, the series explores the devastating loss that shaped Jason Voorhees’ mother and set one of horror’s most iconic stories into motion. Callum Vinson (Long Bright River, Chucky) will portray a young Jason in the series.
Created by Brad Caleb Kane (It: Welcome to Derry, Tokyo Vice), Crystal Lake will consist of 8 episodes and directed by Michael Lennox (Derry Girls, Say Nothing), Celine Held & Logan George (Caddo Lake, Servant), and Quyen Tran (The Pitt, The Testaments).
The cast also includes William Catlett (Abigail, Black Lightning), Devin Kessler (Godfather of Harlem), Cameron Scoggins (Shades of Blue, Nashville), Gwendolyn Sundstrom (I’m Beginning to See the Light), Nick Cordileone (Warrior), Bernadette Quigley (The First Lady, Mr. Robot), Joy Suprano (Fleishman Is in Trouble, Hightown), Danielle Kotch (Lullaby), Daniel Stewart Sherman (Black Mirror), and Phoenix Parnevik (Sommartider).
