Apple TV today revealed first look photos and a teaser for the upcoming crime drama series Lucky, starring and executive produced by Anya Taylor-Joy (The Menu, The Queen’s Gambit). From Reese Witherspoon’s media company Hello Sunshine, the limited series premieres July 15, 2026 globally on Apple TV. New episodes will drop every Wednesday through August 19.

Created by Jonathan Tropper (Your Friends & Neighbors, Banshee), and co-showrun by Tropper and Cassie Pappas (Silo, Griselda), Lucky is based on the 2021 New York Times bestselling novel of the same name by Marissa Stapley.

Anya Taylor-Joy leads the cast alongside Annette Bening (Apples Never Fall, Nyad), Timothy Olyphant (Alien: Earth, Justified), Aunjanue Ellis Taylor (Nickel Boys, King Richard), Drew Starkey (Queer, Outer Banks), Clifton Collins, Jr. (Train Dreams, After Yang), and William Fichtner (Talamasca: The Secret Order, Prison Break).

The synopsis reads, “When a multi-million-dollar heist goes sideways, con artist Lucky (Anya Taylor-Joy) is forced to go on the run. Pursued by both the FBI and a ruthless crime boss, Lucky must fight for her life — and a way out.”

The series is executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine. Anya Taylor-Joy executive produces through her production banner, LadyKiller. Jonathan van Tulleken (Shōgun, Dope Thief), who directed the pilot, is also executive producing.
