Real-life couple Alison Brie and Dave Franco have teamed up once again for the screen, and this time, it’s the body horror film Together which had its world premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival, which is seeking distribution.
The couple’s previous projects together include The Little Hours (2017) and The Disaster Artist (2017), which they both starred in, Somebody I Used to Know (2023), which Franco directed and Brie starred in, and The Rental (2020), Franco’s directorial debut which Brie also starred in.

Together is written and directed by Michael Shanks, and the official logline reads, “A dysfunctional couple makes a big move away from the city to a more isolated existence. As they lose contact with home, friends, and their sense of self beyond their troubled dynamic, Shanks’ script grounds their emotional turmoil within its extreme take on the horrors of codependent relationships. With this couple, things will have to get worse — like a lot worse — before they get better.”
