Apple TV+ today announced that the highly anticipated spy thriller, Argylle, from acclaimed director and producer Matthew Vaughn (Tetris, The King’s Man) will be released in theaters worldwide, in partnership with Universal Pictures, on February 2, 2024, before streaming globally on Apple TV+.
“Argylle follows the globe-trotting adventures of super-spy Argylle across the U.S., London and other exotic locations” and stars Henry Cavill (The Witcher, Zack Snyder’s Justice League), Bryce Dallas Howard (Rocketman, The Help), Sam Rockwell (See How They Run, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Bryan Cranston (Your Honor, Breaking Bad), Catherine O’Hara (Schitt’s Creek, Best in Show), John Cena (Fast X, Peacemaker), singer Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose (Schmigadoon!, West Side Story), and Samuel L. Jackson (The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, The Hateful Eight).
Directed by Vaughn, the film is based on a script written by Jason Fuchs (Wonder Woman, Pan), and is produced by Cloudy Productions and Vaughn’s regular collaborators Adam Bohling and David Reid, as well as Fuchs. Zygi Kamasa, Carlos Peres, Claudia Vaughn and Adam Fishbach serve as executive producers.
