Slamdance 2023 is fast approaching and will take place in person from January 20-26 in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah, and virtually from January 23-29. The annual film festival showcases emerging and innovative filmmakers from around the world. In December 2022, the official lineup was announced which were selected from over 7,700 submissions. Popternative is excited to premiere the trailer for the thriller Fuzzy Head from the breakouts category of Slamdance 2023.
Written and directed by Wendy McColm (Birds without Feathers), the logline reads: “Insomnia-ridden Marla is on the run after the murder of her mother. Now, Marla must confront her everlasting void to find out the truth of what really happened and at last, undo all that’s been done.” McColm stars in the film as well with Alicia Witt (88 Minutes), R&B artist Jonathan Tolliver, Celina Biurrun (Corona Viral Monologues), Rain Phoenix (Hitch), Numa Perrier (Jezebel), Fred Melamed (Barry), and Richard Riehle (Office Space).

Fuzzy Head will screen at Slamdance 2023 on Sunday, January 22 from 10:00pm-11:45pm in the Crescent Room, and Tuesday January 24 from 3:15pm-5:15pm in the Ballroom.
