Euphoria Season 3 Trailer Teases More Chaos
A new trailer for the long-awaited third season of Euphoria has been released by HBO Max which gives us a bit of a deeper look into what to expect. Season 3, which premieres April 12, takes place five years after the events in Season 2 (which aired in 2022) and the main characters are now adults.
The trailer packs in a lot of chaos. For one, Rue (Zendaya) is still deeply entangled in the dangerous world of drugs and the underground trade, only now, it’s escalated, taking her to Mexico where she’s being interrogated by the DEA. Meanwhile, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) appear to be married, with Cassie reinventing herself as an adult content creator. In a surprising twist, she also seems to have reconciled with her former best friend Maddy (Alexa Demie), who is now helping her navigate this new chapter.
Jules (Hunter Schafer) is in college balancing her studies with a side life as a sugar baby. Lexi (Maude Apatow) is working in Hollywood at a talent agency for a producer played by new cast member Sharon Stone (Basic Instinct). Also joining the series in recurring roles are Toby Wallace (Baby Teeth) and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Lost). Martha Kelly, Alanna Ubach, Paula Marshall, Zak Steiner, Sophia Rose Wilson, and Chloe Cherry return in Season 3 as well.
Colman Domingo reprises his Emmy-winning role as Ali, Rue’s Narcotics Anonymous sponsor. The trailer also previews Eric Dane‘s final TV appearance as Cal Jacobs following his death after his battle with ALS.
