Cobra Kai season 6 is finally here and kicked things off with part 1 on Netflix on July 18th. This final season intrpduced new characters including standout Brandon H. Lee who plays Kwon, a new Cobra Kai member. Picking up with Cobra Kai eliminated from the Valley last season, Cobra Kai season 6 follows the senseis and students who must decide if and how they will compete in the Sekai Taikai — the world championships of karate.

Part 2 premieres November 15th, 2024 (originally set for November 28th), with the finale event set for 2025. We were joined on the Popternative show by Brandon H. Lee to talk all about him joining the final season.

In our interview, Brandon discusses being a fan of Cobra Kai for many years and what it feels like to now be part of the series. He also goes into detail about his audition process which includes a story about him being deemed as “too nice” to play Kwon.
