This interview contains major Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 2 spoilers.
After premiering on Netflix with part 1 in July, Cobra Kai season 6 is now back with part 2, which debuted on November 15. Part 1 introduced viewers to new characters, including Kwon, a new Cobra Kai member, played by Brandon H. Lee. Kwon quickly became the new villain and fans loved to hate his character.
We were joined back by Brandon on the Popternative show to discuss part 2 which ends in total shock and chaos.
Part 1 ended with dojos from all over the globe arriving in Barcelona for the Sekai Taikai tournament. It also presented major twists and cliffhangers with Tory joining Cobra Kai. Part 2 (episodes 606-610) brings us to Sekai Taikai, where Miyagi-Do will face new challenges and old enemies as they fight to become world champions.
Just when fans thought they had seen it all with the series, part 2 of season 6 shook the fanbase which resulted in the death of Kwon. In our interview, Brandon looks back on the time he spent filming season 6:
“The amazing stunt team brought a springboard which is gymnastic flooring underneath the puzzle map so we could jump even higher. Every single kick I wanted to throw I got to throw, and finally, being able to interact with the main cast who I have been fans of for so long, and not only interact, but fight them and have a rivalry with. Just so much fun.”
