Boston Blue, Sheriff Country Get Premiere Dates, While CIA is Moved to Midseason

CBS has revealed their Fall 2025 primetime premiere dates for 4 new and 16 returning series for the 2025-2026 season. The second season of Watson will now air Mondays at 10:00 PM, ET/PT in the fall, and the new drama CIA starring Tom Ellis, previously announced to air in the fall, will move to midseason.

The 4 new series making their debut include two spinoffs. Sheriff Country, a spinoff of Fire Country, stars Morena Baccarin as straight-shooting sheriff Mickey Fox, the stepsister of Cal Fire’s division chief Sharon Leone (Diane Farr of Fire Country). She investigates criminal activity while she patrols the streets of small-town Edgewater, contending with her ex-con father, Wes (W. Earl Brown), who is an off-the-grid marijuana grower, and a mysterious incident involving her wayward daughter.

Boston Blue stars Donnie Wahlberg as he reprises his role as NYPD officer Danny Reagan in a universe expansion of the long-running top drama Blue Bloods. Reagan takes a position with Boston PD. Once in Boston, he is paired with detective Lena Peters (Sonequa Martin-Green), the eldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family.

The two other new series making their premieres are the comedy DMV starring Harriet Dyer, Tim Meadows, Tony Cavalero, Molly Kearney, Gigi Zumbado, and Alex Tarrant, and The Road, the new singing competition series from executive producers Taylor Sheridan, Blake Shelton, and Keith Urban.
