
Netflix today revealed the official trailer for the upcoming mystery miniseries, Caught (Atrapados), which is the first Latin American adaptation of a Harlan Coben novel. The series will premiere on March 28 and is set in Argentinian Patagonia’s city of Bariloche.
The cast is led by Soledad Villamil (La Casa del Mar), Juan Minujín (El marginal), Alberto Ammann (Narcos), Fernán Mirás (Loco x vos), Mike Amigorena (El fin del Amor), Matías Recalt (Society of the Snow), and introducing Carmela Riverowith.
Additional cast include Maite Aguilar (Alemania), Victoria Almeida (The Kingdom), Patricio Aramburu (The Unseen), Tania Casciani (Murder Me, Monster), Pablo Cura (Leni), Germán de Silva (The Two Popes), and Alián Devetac (The Hijacking of Flight 601).
Directors are Miguel Cohan (The Kingdom) and Hernán Goldfrid (The Bronze Garden).
Based on the novel of the same title by Harlan Coben, the synopsis reads: “Journalist Ema Garay rises to prominence in digital media by unmasking criminals who manage to evade the law. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Leo Mercer, a respected community figure who becomes the prime suspect in her investigation into the disappearance of a 16-year-old girl. As she searches for the truth, Ema finds herself forced to confront her own demons.”
