Carlacia Grant became a series regular playing Cleo in season 3 of the hit Netflix series Outer Banks, which premiered on February 23 on the streaming service. Recently renewed for a 4th season, Outer Banks follows John B’s (Chase Stokes) hunt for a legendary treasure linked to his father’s disappearance with help from his closest friends.
Set in a coastal town, the locations in Outer Banks can range from land to shore, but night shoots can be particularly tricky Carlacia told Popternative host Petey Beats. “This was definitely our most heavy night shoot season we’ve had so far,” Grant revealed adding how her castmates and herself often get into laughing fits during the nights shoots from delirium. One scene left them hanging (literally) with laughter.
“There’s a scene with the train, not a spoiler, but there’s a train and we had to be harnessed on to it and they called lunch and the crew, everyone went to lunch, and no one took us out, no one took us out of the harness. We were all there like ‘hey guys don’t forget about us’,” Grant shared with a laugh.
