
Netflix today announced new cast additions for Season 2 of the hit sports comedy series, Running Point. New recurring guest stars for Season 2 include Blake Anderson (Workaholics, Game Over, Man!), Richa Moorjani (Fargo, Never Have I Ever), Jake Picking (Top Gun: Maverick, Hollywood), Robert Townsend (The Bear, Before), Ken Marino (The Residence, The Other Two), Tommy Dewey (Casual, Saturday Night), Duby Maduegbunam (Caught Up, Sistas), and Aliyah Turner (Power Book III: Raising Kanan).
Series regulars returning are Kate Hudson, Drew Tarver, Scott MacArthur, Brenda Song, Fabrizio Guido, Chet Hanks, Toby Sandeman, Uche Agada and Justin Theroux with recurring guest stars Max Greenfield, Jay Ellis, Roberto Sanchez, Jon Glaser, Scott Evans, Rob Huebel, Marissa Reyes, and Justin Hurtt-Dunkle.
Running Point premiered on February 27, 2025, and was quickly renewed for a second season in March. Hudson plays Isla Gordon who is appointed president of the Los Angeles Waves, one of the most storied professional basketball franchises, and her family business. Ambitious and often overlooked, Isla will have to prove to her skeptical brothers, the board, and the larger sports community that she was the right choice for the job.
Season 2 recently started production in Los Angeles.
