Hulu today announced the lineup for the 2024 Black Stories Always hub in honor of Black History Month in February. February will see new TV and film premieres including Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez, Nat Geo’s Genius: MLK/X and The Space Race, Andscape’s Sacred Soil: The Piney Woods School Story, and the season three premiere of acclaimed series Abbott Elementary.
Titles include FX’s Snowfall, Andscape’s Cypher, Onyx Collective’s Reasonable Doubt, fan-favorites The Bernie Mac Show, My Wife and Kids, The Wonder Years, the beloved film Soul Food among many more. This year marks the iconic anniversaries of Family Matters (35 years), Sister, Sister (30 years) and Black-ish (10 years), as well as the 10th anniversary of the Academy Award-winning film 12 Years A Slave.

New Premieres
Genius: MLK/X – February 2
Synopsis: “The new season of the Emmy Award-winning anthology series will focus on two iconic geniuses: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) and Malcolm X (Aaron Pierre). Genius: MLK/X will explore the formative years, where they were molded by strong fathers and traumatic injustices, to their rich, parallel stories as they shaped their identities and became the change they wished to see in the world. The docudrama series offers an intimate look into their complex lives as husbands, fathers, brothers and sons, taking them off the iconic T-shirts to show their humanity. Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez – February 12
Synopsis: “A fun, exciting peek into the personal lives of WWE’s hottest couple. Bianca Belair and Montez Ford’s road to WrestleMania is a wild ride, as Montez continues his ascent and Bianca fights to hold on to her title. With the support of their tight knit group of friends, family and fellow superstars, the dynamic duo somehow always manages to pull off the impossible.”
Our America: In The Black – February 3
Synopsis: “This thought-provoking documentary special chronicles the efforts of Microsoft Philanthropic specialist Darrell Booker in his national quest to raise awareness about building financial health and wellness in the Black community. In the series, Booker explores how technology can serve as a great equalizer to mitigate these disparities while engaging with individuals who are actively working toward financial literacy programs that pave the way for economic mobility and generational wealth creation.”
Abbott Elementary Season 3 Premiere – February 3
Synopsis: “A workplace comedy following a group of dedicated, passionate teachers — and a slightly tone-deaf principal —as they navigate the Philadelphia public school system. Despite the odds stacked against them, they are determined to help their students succeed in life, and though these incredible public servants may be outnumbered and underfunded, they love what they do — even if they don’t love the school district’s less-than-stellar attitude toward educating children.”
The Space Race – February 13
Synopsis: “The Space Race uncovers the little-known story behind the race to put the first black man into space, a complex web of Cold War propaganda and Civil Rights mishaps that span the United States, Russia, and Cuba. Referred to by historians as “the last battle of the cold war,” we’ll hear from three men who were championed and often used by each country as tokens in an ideological war that shaped our history. “
Sacred Soil: The Piney Woods School Story – February 23
