Focus Features today dropped the official trailer for the rom-com Finding Emily starring Angourie Rice (Honor Society, The Last Thing He Told Me), Spike Fearn (Aftersun, Alien: Romulus), and Minnie Driver (Emily in Paris, Run Away). The film will release in theaters on August 28.
Written by Rachel Hirons (Kiss Me First, 2nd Date Sex) and directed by Alicia MacDonald (Too Much, The Outlaws), the synopsis reads, “When a lovesick musician is given the wrong number for his dream girl, he teams up with a driven psychology student to find her. Together, they spark a hilarious campus-wide frenzy that tests their own hearts and ambitions along the way.”
The soundtrack for Finding Emily will feature music by Spike Fern, Blossoms, W. H. Lung, and Morgan Kibby, which is now available to pre-order on vinyl via Silva Screen.
