AMC has officially renewed Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire for a fourth season which will be titled Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned. The announcement was made during the series’ San Diego Comic-Con International Hall H panel for The Vampire Lestat (Season 3’s title), featuring executive producers Mark Johnson and Hannah Moscovitch alongside cast members Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, and Sheila Atim.
The renewal arrives ahead of Sunday’s Season 3 finale. The fourth season, based on Anne Rice’s beloved novel Queen of the Damned, will be executive produced by Moscovitch, who will also serve as showrunner, alongside Johnson and Rolin Jones. The upcoming season will shift its focus to Akasha, the original vampire, who was portrayed by Sheila Atim in The Vampire Lestat.
