A24 today released the official trailer for MAXXXINE, the latest saga in the world of the 2022 horror film X from writer and director Ti West.
MAXXXINE will premiere in theaters July 6th and stars Mia Goth (X, Pearl), Elizabeth Debicki (The Crown, Tenet), Moses Sumney (The Idol), Michelle Monaghan (True Detective, Gone Baby Gone), Bobby Cannavale (The Watcher, Nine Perfect Strangers), Halsey (Americana, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power), Lily Collins (Emily in Paris, Windfall), with Giancarlo Esposito (Godfather of Harlem, Breaking Bad), and Kevin Bacon (Leave the World Behind, City on a Hill).
The synopsis reads: “In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.”
