9 Projects to Watch Featuring the Cast of Dead Boy Detectives
Netflix‘s supernatural horror-comedy series Dead Boy Detectives premiered yesterday on the streaming platform and seems to be a hit with audiences. It currently has a 90% Tomatometer rating with the Critics Consensus reading: “Dead Boy Detectives expands the Sandman universe with an addictively entertaining paranormal fantasy with excitement, romance, and young adult angst to spare.”
As part of The Sandman universe for Netflix and based on the comic series from Neil Gaiman, the series follows teen ghosts Edwin (George Rexstrew) and Charles (Jayden Revri) who were born decades apart but have found each other only in death, and are the team behind the Dead Boy Detectives agency who solve a variety of mysteries. With the help of a clairvoyant named Crystal (Kassius Nelson) and her friend Niko (Yuyu Kitamura), the four of them crack some of the mortal realm’s most mystifying paranormal cases.
The series marks George Rexstrew’s and Yuyu Kitamura’s first major roles, and we will definitely be seeing more of them in the future. Other cast members however can be seen in previous projects from movies to series. Here are 9 projects to check out starring the cast of Dead Boy Detectives.
