Netflix‘s latest series, the sci-fi drama 3 Body Problem, landed on the platform March 21st. From Creators David Benioff (Gemini ManGame of Thrones), D.B. Weiss (The ChairGame of Thrones) and Alexander Woo (The TerrorTrue Blood), the series is based on the internationally celebrated book trilogy by Cixin Liu.

3 Body Problems spans continents and timelines beginning in 1960s China where a young woman’s fateful decision resounds across space and time into the present day. As a result, a group of scientists join forces with an unorthodox detective to confront the greatest threat in humanity’s history.

Although there is no news yet on a second season, the current season sits at an 82% average audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, and the showrunners recently told The Hollywood Reporter that season 2 “will be even better.”
