8 Projects to Watch Featuring the Cast of Will Trent
Season two of the ABC crime procedural Will Trent premiered February 20th, 2024, and was recently renewed for a third season. Based on Karin Slaughter’s New York Times bestselling Will Trent book series, Special Agent Will Trent of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was abandoned at birth and endured a harsh coming-of-age in Atlanta’s overwhelmed foster care system. Will now uses his unique point of view in the pursuit of justice and has the highest clearance rate in the GBI.
Featuring an ensemble cast that includes a lovable Chihuahua who lights up the screen every time she is in a scene, Will Trent works because of the way each case is shown while depicting the trauma Will and his colleague Polaski continue to face as a result of their childhoods.
