7 New Horror Movies Premiering in September 2024
Spooky Season is pretty much almost here, and while October is the month where horror really kicks off in film and TV, September has spooky content to look forward to as well. Fans of the genre have a lot to see this Fall and September will be the month to kick things off.
Here are 7 new horror movies to watch in September 2024.
The Front Room (Theaters) – September 6
Cast: Brandy, Kathryn Hunter, Andrew Burnap, Neal Huff
Synopsis: “Everything goes to hell for newly pregnant Belinda after her mother-in-law moves in and tries to get her claws on the child.”
Here After (Select theaters and On Digital) – September 13
Cast: Connie Britton, Freya Hannan-Mills, Giovanni Cirfiera
Synopsis: “Connie Britton (Nashville, The White Lotus) stars in this gripping supernatural thriller. Claire Hiller is overjoyed when her daughter Robin is miraculously revived after a fatal accident. But her relief turns to dread as Claire notices changes in her daughter, suspecting something dark has followed her back from the brink of death.”
Speak No Evil (Theaters) – September 13
Cast: James McAvoy, Mackenzie Davis, Scoot McNairy, Aisling Franciosi, Alix West Lefler, Daniel Hough
Synopsis: “When an American family is invited to spend the weekend at the idyllic country estate of a charming British family they befriended on vacation, what begins as a dream holiday soon warps into a snarled psychological nightmare.”

Synopsis: “A family finds themselves ensnared in a nightmare as they are hunted by a malevolent, mythical creature. Azrael (Theaters) – September 27
Cast: Samara Weaving, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Vic Carmen Sonne
Synopsis: “Many years following the apocalypse, a devout cult of mute zealots hunts down Azrael (Samara Weaving), a young woman who escaped her own imprisonment- and she will stop at nothing to ensure her own survival.”
Never Let Go (Theaters) – September 27
