Prime Video‘s newest series is the crime mystery, The Better Sister, starring Jessica Biel (Candy, The Sinner) and Elizabeth Banks (Mrs. America, The Hunger Games), based on the book by bestselling author Alafair Burke. The series premiered on May 29 and deals with the complex relationship between siblings centered around a murder and the mystery of who really committed the crime.

Biel plays Chloe, a high-profile media executive who has a picturesque life with her lawyer husband and teenage son by her side while her estranged sister Nicky, played by Banks, struggles to make ends meet and stay clean. When Chloe’s husband is brutally murdered, the prime suspect sends shockwaves through the family, reuniting the two sisters, as they try to untangle a complex family history to discover the truth behind his death.
