Some might say the stars of Outer Banks became “overnight successes.” But there’s no denying that everyone must start somewhere, and that’s exactly the case with the stars of the Netflix hit series. We take a look at 5 of the cast members’ first time behind a camera – many of which were not that long ago.
Drew Starkey – The Radical Notion of Gene Mutation (Short) (2014)
This short film was made in 2013-2014 with Western Carolina University Film and Television Production students, and it features Outer Banks star Drew Starkey which was his first acting gig.
Chase Stokes – Lost Island (Short) (2014)
Although Chase doesn’t appear on-screen, Chase wrote this short with some of his friends and his voice can be heard at the 1:56 mark as Captain Charles Whitaker. Maybe this technically counts as his on-screen debut?
Madison Bailey – Constantine (2015)
Madison Bailey’s first time on screen was in a 2015 episode of Constantine when she was 16 years old. You can see her scenes via IMDb here.
Madelyn Cline – Milites Christi (Short) (2009)
Madelyn’s on-screen debut was very short in a 2009 short film titled Milites Christi. You can see her at the 6:05 mark below (we mean it when we say it is short!).
Rudy Pankow – Sunny Family Cult (Web series) (2017)
Rudy made his on-screen debut not too long ago in a 2017 episode of the web series Sunny Family Cult. He stars in the fourth episode titled “7 Minutes in Heaven” released on May 7, 2017.
