4 Burning Questions We Want Answered in Squid Game Season 3
Squid Game became extremely popular thanks to a near perfect season one, and then fans had to wait almost three years for the second season to arrive on Netflix. Part of this is because it was always planned to be a limited series. The writer was not expecting to have to come up with another season, and when he did, he very clearly split it in two parts.
The two seasons really should have been called Squid Game 2 Part 1 and Squid Game 2 Part 2, because a full story is not even remotely wrapped up in season 2. Because of this we are left with many burning questions.
Here are 4 questions that we want, or even need, Squid Game Season 3 to answer.
Who won the two Squid Games after Gi-Hun?
There have been two other Squid Games since Gi-Hun won. We know this because there was a two year time jump after season one, and the way he ends up back on the island is by tracking down those running the game. I feel that if there was going to be a two year time jump like this, we have to find out something about the winners in the two games since.
So who else has won? What are they doing with their lives? What was their experience in the games? Do they have the urge to play again and take it down from the inside as well? Why didn’t Gi-Hun try to track them down?

What is going on with Gi-Hun’s daughter?
Gi-Hun has love for his daughter, as most fathers would. He joined the games for her protection, and the protection of his ex-wife. So, to have him simply cast them aside, and opt to spend his winnings tracking down the Squid Games again rather than going off to the United States to spend time with her is surprising.
She is such a big part of his life that it would be bizarre if Squid Games Season 3 does not address what she is up to and how she is doing. Is she missing her father? How has he explained to her that he is still unable to go see her? Hopefully we catch up with her. If he survives again, which hopefully he will, it would be nice to see them reunite.
Where are the harvested organs going?
We saw in season one of Squid Game that the guards were harvesting organs, and it was solidified that this is not an order from those running the games in season 2. The orders are for the guards to kill the players who lose the game, but some guards are harvesting the organs of those that are left on the brink of death.
In the first season, they utilized a doctor who was in the game to do this. This time around they have brought in a doctor from the outside. However, they are told that the organs cannot be taken from dead players, because they are spoiled and unusable, so they continue to try to wound rather than kill those who lose.

Where are these organs going? Are they being sold on the black market? Whose idea exactly is this and where is the money going? Also, what was done in the two games between season one and season two? Did they also harvest organs? These are all questions that should be answered before the series wraps up.
Will the games continue?
Probably the biggest question of all that needs to be answered in Squid Game Season 3 is what is going to happen to the games? This one has been disrupted with the players attacking the guards and getting weapons. The Front Man successfully infiltrated the game (why Gi-Hun was not suspicious of Player 001 again is beyond me) and because of that he was able to turn the tide in the uprising back towards the guards and the controllers of the game.
That said, if Gi-Hun and players win, will the games find a way to continue? Or will they end once and for all? Only time will tell.
While Squid Game Season 3 does not yet have a release date, it will come to Netflix sometime in 2025. In the meantime, seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream.
