While we are sadly departing from Spooky Season, November is slated to bring us tons of new content including the premieres of several new tv series. It can be overwhelming to figure out what’s coming out and on which channel or streaming platforms. I highlight 14 new series premiering from November 1st through November 30th that are worth checking out. From drama, to mystery, anime, crime, comedy, action, sci-fi, and more, there’s something on this list for everyone.

Black Cake (November 1)

Genre: Drama Mystery

Cast: Mia Isaac, Adrienne Warren, Chipo Chung, Ashley Thomas, Lashay Anderson, Faith Alabi , Glynn Turman, Ahmed Eljah, Simon Wan, Sonita Henry

Synopsis: “Bride Covey disappears in the shore, under unknown circumstances or reasons. A flash drive will change the life of Eleanor Bennett, years later.”

All the Light We Cannot See (Limited Series) (November 2)

Genre: Historical Fiction Drama

Cast: Aria Mia Loberti, Louis Hofmann, Mark Ruffalo, Hugh Laurie, Nell Sutton, Lars Eidinger, Marion Bailey 

Synopsis: “In the final days of WWII, the paths of a blind French girl and a German soldier collide. Based on Anthony Doerr’s Pulitzer Prize-winning bestseller.”

Blue Eye Samurai (Limited Series) (November 3)

Synopsis: “Set in Edo-period Japan, Blue Eye Samurai follows Mizu, a mixed-race master of the sword who lives a life in disguise seeking the deliverance of revenge.”

Lawmen: Bass Reeves (Limited Series) (November 5)

Genre: Western Drama

Synopsis: “Follows the journey of Reeves (Oyelowo) and his rise from enslavement to law enforcement as the first Black U.S. Marshal west of the Mississippi. The Curse (November 10)

Beacon 23 (November 12)

A Murder at the End of the World (Limited Series) (November 14)

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (November 17)

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off (November 17)

Obituary (November 21)

A Nearly Normal Family (Limited Series) (November 24)

Genre: Crime Drama

The Artful Dodger (November 29)

Obliterated (November 30)

Genre: Action Comedy

Synopsis: “A high octane action-comedy that tells the story of an elite special forces team who thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas. After their celebratory party, filled with booze, drugs and sex, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a fake. The now intoxicated team has to fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb, and save the world.”
