The Plastics returns to the big screen in Mean Girls, premiering in theaters on January 12, combining elements of the 2004 feature film written by Tina Fey based on the 2002 Queen Bees and Wannabes book by Rosalind Wiseman and the 2018 Broadway musical.

Angourie Rice stars in Mean Girls as new student Cady Heron who infiltrates the A list girl clique the Plastics, consisting of Regina George (Reneé Rapp) and her minions Gretchen (Bebe Wood) and Karen (Avantika). When an inner battle sparks over Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney), Janis and Damian, played by Auli’i Cravalho and Jaquel Spivey, help Cady seek revenge.

Tina Fey and Tim Meadows reprise their roles from the 2004 film as Ms. Norbury and Principal Duvall.
