13 New Shows to Watch in March 2025

March 2025 has several of our favorite shows returning with new seasons. These include season 2 of the South African culinary mystery series Recipe for Love and Murder (March 3, Acorn TV), season 4 of Power Book III: Raising Kanan (March 4, Starz), season 3 of the crime mystery series Dark Winds (March 9, AMC), the final season of HBO’s comedy drama The Righteous Gemstones (March 9), Prime Video’s third season of the fantasy series, The Wheel of Time (March 13), the seventh and final season of The Conners (March 26, ABC), and the final season of Bosch: Legacy (March 27, Prime Video).

But March has many new series to look forward to ranging from crime series, comedies, dramas, mysteries, and more. Here are 13 new shows to watch premiering in March 2025.

Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue – March 2 (MGM+)

Cast: Eric McCormack, David Ajala, Siobhán McSweeney, Lydia Wilson, Peter Gadiot, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Ángel López-Silva, Hari Dhillon, Deborah Ayorinde, Daniel Topic, Sebastián Capitán Viveros, Gloria Garcia, Harlys Becerra

Synopsis:Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue is a strikingly original and taut thriller series with a jaw-dropping reveal waiting at the end. A light aircraft with nine passengers crashes in the Mexican jungle – and everyone survives. But then, one after another, they begin to die in strange and violent ways and very soon they begin to realize that, for some inexplicable reason, somebody wants them dead. As the story unfolds in flashback, we meet the survivors as they fight against the heat, a shortage of supplies, the many dangers of the jungle – and each other. The setting becomes increasingly tense and claustrophobic until finally the identity of the killer and the truth are revealed.”

Daredevil: Born Again – March 4 (Disney+)

Synopsis: “Murdock, a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.”

The Leopard (Miniseries)- March 5 (Netflix)

Cast: Kim Rossi Stuart, Benedetta Porcaroli, Deva Cassel, Saul Nanni, Paolo Calabresi, Francesco Colella, Astrid Meloni, Francesco Di Leva

Synopsis: “Amid the unification of 1860s Italy, a Sicilian prince grapples with the collision between his family’s ancient privilege and revolutionary change.”

Deli Boys – March 6 (Hulu/Disney+)

Cast: Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, Poorna Jagannathan, Alfie Fuller, Brian George

Synposis: “When their convenience store-magnate father suddenly dies, a pair of pampered Pakistani American brothers lose everything and are forced to reckon with their Baba’s secret life of crime as they attempt to take up his mantle in the underworld.”

When No One Sees Us – March 7 (Max)

Cast: Maribel Verdú, Mariela Garriga, Austin Amelio, Ben Temple, Dani Rovira

Synopsis:When No One Sees Us explores a series of crimes in the political and cultural frontier of so-called “deep Spain,” and one of the largest U.S. military bases abroad, during the celebration of Holy Week in Morón de la Frontera (Seville). “

Adolescence (Miniseries) – March 13 (Netflix)

Cast: Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper, Ashley Walters, Erin Doherty, Christine Tremarco, Faye Marsay

Synopsis:Adolescence tells the story of how a family’s world is turned upside down when 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) is arrested for the murder of a teenage girl who goes to his school. Stephen Graham will play Jamie’s father and ‘appropriate adult’, Eddie Miller. Ashley Walters stars as Detective Inspector Luke Bascombe, and Erin Doherty is Briony Ariston, the clinical psychologist assigned to Jamie’s case.”

Long Bright River – March 13 (Peacock)

Cast: Amanda Seyfried, Nicholas Pinnock, Ashleigh Cummings, Callum Vinson, John Doman, Dash Mihok, Britne Oldford, Matthew Del Negro, Harriet Sansom Harris, Patch Darragh, Perry Mattfeld

Synopsis: “Tells the story of Mickey (Amanda Seyfried), a police officer who patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood hard-hit by the opioid crisis. When a series of murders begins in the neighborhood, Mickey realizes that her personal history might be related to the case.”

Dope Thief – March 14 (Apple TV+)

Cast: Brian Tyree Henry, Wagner Moura, Marin Ireland, Kate Mulgrew, Nesta Cooper, Amir Arison, Dustin Nguyen, Ving Rhames

Synopsis: “Two lifelong friends (Brian Tyree Henry and Wagner Moura) in Philadelphia pose as DEA agents to rob small-time drug dealers. It’s a perfect grift—until they choose the wrong mark and become targets of a massive narcotics enterprise.”

Good American Family (Miniseries) – March 19 (Hulu/Disney+)

Cast: Ellen Pompeo, Mark Duplass, Imogen Faith Reid, Dulé Hill, Christina Hendricks, Sarayu Blue, Jenny O’Hara

Synopsis: “Told from multiple points of view, as a means to explore issues of perspective, bias, and trauma, this compelling drama is inspired by the disturbing stories surrounding a Midwestern couple who adopts a girl with a rare form of dwarfism. But as they begin to raise her alongside their three biological children, mystery emerges around her age and background, and they slowly start to suspect she may not be who she says she is. As they defend their family from the daughter they’ve grown to believe is a threat, she fights her own battle to confront her past and what her future holds, in a showdown that ultimately plays out in the tabloids and the courtroom.”

Happy Face – March 20 (Paramount+)

Cast: Dennis Quaid, Annaleigh Ashford, James Wolk, Tamera Tomakili, Khiyla Aynne, Benjamin Mackey

Synopsis:Happy Face is inspired by the true-life story of Melissa G. Moore; the critically acclaimed Happy Face podcast from iHeartPodcasts and Moore; and the autobiography Shattered Silence, written by Moore with M. Bridget Cook. At 15, Moore discovered that her beloved father was the prolific serial killer known as Happy Face. As an adult, she has changed her name and guarded her secret while her father has been serving life in prison.”

The Residence – March 20 (Netflix)

Cast: Uzo Aduba, Randall Park, Giancarlo Esposito, Al Franken, Andrew Friedman, Julian McMahon, Edwina Findley, Molly Griggs, Jason Lee, Ken Marino, Al Mitchell

Synopsis: “A brilliant, eccentric detective must solve a murder in the White House residence — where the staff and guests at a state dinner are all suspects.”

Side Quest – March 26 (Apple TV+)

Cast: Rob McElhenney, Annamarie Kasper, Esai Morales, Shalita Grant, Ramon Reed, Bria Henderson, Rome Flynn, Leonard Robinson, William Stanford Davis, Gary Kraus

Synopsis: “An expansion of the Mythic Quest universe, Side Quest explores the lives of employees, players and fans who are impacted by the game in an anthology format.”

The Studio – March 26 (Apple TV+)

Cast: Seth Rogen, Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, Bryan Cranston, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, Dewayne Perkins

Synopsis: “In The Studio, Rogen stars as the newly appointed head of a movie studio, Continental Studios. Desperate for the approval of celebrities, he and his team of executives at Continental Studios must juggle corporate demands with creative ambitions as they try to keep movies alive and relevant.” The Studio assembles a star-studded ensemble cast led by Emmy, SAG and Golden Globe Award-winner Catherine O’Hara, Emmy Award-nominee Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz and Chase Sui Wonders.
